Default Four Grandmothers Scraps all in one Quilt

I have been collecting scraps and when my Mother passed away I found she had been doing the same thing. I also found a box that was marked Mother Gunn, who was my grandmother. My daughter passed away and in her things I found a box of Scraps. All the scraps were floral fabric. So that is Four Grandmothers who saved Floral scraps.
You guessed it. I had to do something with them. In my daughters box of scraps was a picture of a tile floor. Using the picture I created the Quilt with Label of all the grandmothers.

The quilt is beautiful! It's wonderful you were able to use the scraps. My mom passed away month before the great-grand kids (boy and girl set of twins) were born. I found fabric she had saved for years and put them into quilts for them. Their grandmother, my sister, had passed away the year before they were born and one of the fabrics I found was fabric my mother used for an outfit for her back in the 1950's. My sister only sewed when she was in Home-Ec and even then my mom and I had to re-do it when she went to bed.

Wow, what a lovely quilt, and such a sweet story too! Make sure you include the history in the label too.
