Default Sandman sleeper chair

Because of back problems I have a very hard time getting comfortable enough in bed to sleep well. Have you or anyone you know tried this sleeper chair? I am getting desperate to find a solution . Medications may help but they interfere with getting "refreshing" sleep.
Thanks for your feedback.

Our neighbor is terminal with cancer. His wife bought him the chair when he couldn't get comfortable on his sides anymore. He is very impressed with the chair, and is always talking about it when we go round to check on them. We will definitely get one if one of us needs it. Hope you get some relief soon...back pain is really uncomfortable!

Would Medicare pay anything on such a chair? I had not heard of it so looked online. Looks like it will do everything but sing you a lullaby but a bit on the pricey side! A good night's sleep is worth a bundle though. Is there a local store that you can give it a try before purchasing?

Is there somewhere that you can try it out first? Those kinds of chairs almost always set my neck and/or back off because they don’t fit me right.

We did not get the Sandman, we got one called the Catnapper. My husband needed it following his hip revision surgery. It is remote controlled, and lays flat, but also at any other level you want. It is comfortable and for us a godsend. He spent weeks sleeping in it. We bought it in February, and it has held up well with daily use.

Ditter, because of the hurricane, when I saw you are in FL I looked up where your town is located in the state. I am so worried about you.....and all our friends on the west coast of Florida. Please check as soon as you can!
