I would like to find recipes that don't use a cake mix, so I know exactly what's in them.
I would (and will) do this....sounds good and would satisfy my "chocolate tooth".....Thank You!

I have used the angel food cake mix with a dark chocolate cake mix.....5 tablespoons of mix to 3.5 water, microwave for a 65 seconds.....makes a little more cake....put either whipping cream, cream or coolwhip on top...Hubby loves it.
It takes a ziplock to the cabin with him and fixes desert almost every night.

Love this one and use van mix and angel food. Since the cake mixes aren’t the same wt. you need to measure cup by cup by cup as store in tight container.
I use canned fruit pie filling for topping.
