Yes, I think that the layer cake was called Dragonfly Dance. Some of the colors just didn't please me at all, but the squares I loved, I loved. This pattern only needed 12, but there were about 22 that I just loved. So I made some tough decisions... I was going to make a Double Slice Layer Cake pattern (Missouri Star) , which I think would have looked good, if I had liked more of the colors. I know you will figure out something fun to do with your layer cake.

Pretty quilt. If you make scrappy quilts you could use the other cakes in them. Just using a bunch of colors and designs together.

I agree, not all of the colors are fabulous, but I'm hoping to come up with something that will have small enough pieces that it blends together! It was the dragonfly pattern that got me, I have a special fondness for them.
