I wanted the brown for the border. I had about a 1/4 yard of each brown left. I needed contrast between the dot fabric and the tan sashing.

Better late than becoming a UFO! Here is my top. I decided on a simple 4" border instead of the huge appliqued border.

NZ- I love yours!!!

Maybe it's just me but I didn't care for the appliqued border on this quilt. I love applique but I think this one is so cozy just the way it is.
I chose navy for my border but haven't attached it yet. I'm in too many sewalongs haha! But they're fun!
