What a beautiful son to lose. Condolences to the mom. You are right, what a lot of work for your age to make this. I love that it is not only his legacy but yours as well.

So sad your Niece lost her Son. That is a precious quilt for his Mom. You did a wonderful job on it.

May I ask if you sashed the pictures or did you sew the picture directly onto a black block? I'm currently attempting a 50th Anniversary quilt. I have the photos printed (on the photo fabric) but unsure of how to incorporate it with the actual quilt blocks. I hope this makes sense. Thank you!
