It's at the bottom of the page, after they tell you everything you need to know about lemon curd!

An easy recipe that can be made in the microwave:
https://www.southernliving.com/recip...asy-lemon-curd

This cheesecake uses lemon curd from that recipe, and it's one of my family's favorite holiday meal desserts:

Daffy

Edited to add "holiday meal" because cheesecake is a special occasion dessert!

Never had Lemon curd. What do you use it in or for? Is it like jelly or a filling for pastries?

It's like a creamy lemon jam, sweet and tart. Delicious on toast, ice cream, I've seen it as an ingredient in other recipes like lemon chicken.

Funny you gals have this on as a subject today. I have been craving lemon anything lately. I asked hubby to pick up a lemon cake at the grocery last week. It was so moist and fabulous. We just loved it. I practically live on lemonade during the summer. I just love the smell of it too.
I bought a brand of lemon curd that was good. It is a cottage brand named, Bonne Maman. It was just perfect.
That being said, I used to visit a place in san jose, ca. That had homemade lemon curd they served with their bangers. Just a tiny mom and pop place that was hard to get into. It was always packed. Both are from the English origin.

Yummmm....lemon curd is very easy to make. Now I want to make some. I'll look for an easy, online recipe to share.
