Vroom-Vroom Motorcycle baby quilt
Hey Y'all,
I just finished this commissioned baby quilt. The new mom is a motorcycle racer. I made her a baby quilt several years ago for her little one, Arthur. Now baby brother, Mazer is here & they wanted another quilt for him.
Freemotion quilting throughout included the word 'VROOM' in all the corners. (Couldn't get the close of of the corner picture to load.)
Bright parakeet blue, neon green & black - Appliqued name/motorcycle via satin stitch.
I doubled up on the batting - thinking to give it more depth/dimension...but it's kinda heavy, so I will unlikely do this again on a baby quilt.
I'm still trimming stray threads - so hard to see on the back/black! But otherwise I think its ready to be mailed.
