Fishing, by me

I have a 10yo great-nephew who loves to fish like me and recently moved to a new home on a lake. I designed this quilt on EQ8 amd used Naturescape fabrics….I made this in a day….lol… This will rock his world…he basically sleeps with his fishing pole. Lol…

Beautiful quilt and beautiful panel, very peaceful. I too love the layout of your blocks, would never have thought of that design.

I have always found panels really hard to work with, simply because designing around them is a challenge. I love how you've framed the fish.

Thank you! I always design my borders first, …..determine block size, then cut panel to fit. That’s the easiest for me…

Wow! Great design and color choices that really make the center scene come alive! Please let us know of his reaction to such a fantastic quilt...and made in a day is amazing as well.
