Great job WMUTeach on your 6 UFO’s this month.

Great job everyone on your UFO completions. I have 3 quilts to just sew on binding. I got side tracked by quilting 5 small tops for a friend. But tonight I will be finish that project and will go back to finishing the 3 quilt binding.

Then I think on Monday I will start quilting on 3-4 more of my UFO quilting projects. Unsure where their final home will be. So I guess my August UFO goal for will be to complete 1 UFO each week. Which is very doable. Plus we have VQW the 1st weekend in August. Yea.

Happy sewing everyone.

You go, Happylab and get those bindings on! I layered two more UFO's and one WIP this morning at my quilt group's work day. I have more UFO's but I want to keep up with some current pieces too.

The Virtual Quilt Weekend is a terrific way to take on one project or to nail done finish or to make measurable progress your current project. Highly recommend it for good motivation and cheering on from others.

I agree WMUTeach. I want to start working on the quilt top called Peace and Healing from Debbie at quilting the past. It was supposed to be a QAL, but I didn’t get to buying/gathering my fabric until last week. My 1st thought was to just use my stash, but after pulling out the large pieces of fabric from stash, I realize I needed more bought fabric to go along with what I have pulled out of stash. I have all but the small pieces gathered now. I also need to start my nieces r/w/blk top this month too. In between these projects I plan to quilt & finish some of my ufo tops. So I will be busy. oh well need to get busy. Happy sewing/quilting everyone.

Hey hey, I posted some time ago that I delivered a Baltimore album to my LAQ, it was more than 20 years old and deserved to be displayed. I got the binding done as the sun was setting, so the photos aren’t great, but you will get an idea. The quilt top is 80x80 so it’s a big girl. I hope to deliver the next UFO to her this week. The last one is of my cat Lizzy Bennet cuddling as I was sewing the binding. Cheers!!

My goodness, what a beautiful cat!

And of course, a great quilt!

I am working on a beach quilt for my son's beach-loving family, using an old bundle called 'Sunsational' as my foundational fabrics (with lots of stash additions). I got the idea here on the board, of using a drop cloth for the block. It consists all of 'economy blocks,' or square-in-square-in-square, with bright, beach-y prints. (Hope it isn't too busy.)

Yeah!
been working on 2 quilts. I’d get stuck on what to do next, so change to the other. Finished both today. Still don’t know how to process pictures in the iPad. One was a mystery using delectable mountains. The other is blue white and a dash of gold with a medallion center.

two for August!

There’s no project out so I can decide on a new project or a ufo. Going to look at ufo’s. If nothing grabs me, NEW it will be.

Petthefabric = lovely finish, great job.

Rebaquilts = such a lovely cat and ufo finish. Congrates.

I’m having issues with posting pics from my I-pad. Not sure if updates for iPad are not taking to this site. I will have to seriously try to post a pic this week. Oh well happy quilting/sewing everyone. I let you know how it goes.
