I’m cutting fabric for the Lakeside quilt I’m making. I saw the quilt on display at Lolly’s in shipshewana and six months later, I’ve chosen the 17 fabrics and ahve started cutting. Cutting is my least favorite part of making a quilt and this one has a lot of pieces!

Finished piecing Clue 2, just need to trim some of them. Then on to Clue 3 and also tackling my 3.5" strips and squares drawer. But may do some quilting first- that's more fun LOL!

It’s been a very productive day. I have several quilts completely done and two more ready to quilt tomorrow afternoon. I’m teaching Sunday school in the morning so finished prepping the lesson today also. Will check back in tomorrow afternoon.

Found a few misappearing 4 pacth blocks in my stash. Decided to add to the pile and made enough for an almost 50 x 60 quilt for Project Linus. Looked terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE, on the design board BUT once I turned them on the diagonal...WALA much better. Adding 1" finished sashing and will be a great quilt. Funny when you change the lay out it becomes a completely different quilt! (Thank heavens.)

Our PL chair person informed us no more little quilts until further notice. She has enough and despeately needs quilts for mid-school and high school kids. So I can give her one, maybe two by the next meeting.

Everyone is making great progress, isn’t that wonderfully satisfying! Got one more quilt quilted yesterday and today I will get it off the frame, square it up and maybe get the binding sewn down so I have handwork in the evening and if I am lucky I will get the backing for the next quilt loaded. Sundays are always my cleaning day too, but that only takes me a few hours. Happy sewing everyone!

Good progress on the queen size LC. I've got all the rows and columns sewn, just need to do the X's through the blocks. That will take some time since there are 41 left for me to do. I doubt I will finish the quilting today, but should have that done this week. Maybe if I a real ambitious, I can actually get it completely finished this week. I already have the binding sewn and will be machine binding since it is such a big quilt.

Working on getting the binding sewn down on my Vintage Rose. Auck. It’s so big. 99” x 99”. But I want it done. Going to see a lady this morning who used to have a quilt shop and has 600+ bolts of fabric. Hoping to stock up for my Riptides quilt.
Got this done. Going to send it to my sister to quilt then will attach flowers.

Sunday Morning Progress Report:
Make 5 blocks for my Harrisonburg quilt (Colored pieces are cut, background is not.)
*Cut background for all the blocks in the quilt.
*Chain piecing blocks by color, so I have one block finished and 4 waiting for the final steps
Make 4 pillowcases for donation ( 8 cut and 4 finished).
*Two done and two that will wait for another time

Spend time with grand children
*This afternoon and evening! Yeah.
