Decatur is about three hours from my home. Made many trips there while my daughter was in college at Agnes Scott and law school at Emory. We have company coming this weekend. Sounds like you have a good size group coming together. HAve a good time.

FOLKS: it's Fri and I'm hoping those of you who are still planning to come to the get together will be kind enough to pipe in on this thread with your updated plans. Sarah at IQ wanted a count and the best I was able to give her was an estimate of 20 to 30. I understand last minute stuff, boy do I, but please chime in with a I'm still coming, I can't, or even an I'm still up in the air...

Unfortunately, my plans have changed. Hubby's flying out of Atlanta next weekend and won't be back until 2 weeks late. So I'm gonna have to pass :( :(

Not a happy camper about that either...Other than he'll be gone for 13 days!! Wonder how much quilting I can get done and still get enough sleep to make it to work the next day.

I'm giving you a oh yes...I can't wait!! Don't know if you've noticed my painted shoe quilt, but I was thinking about bringing that for Show n Tell. I'm also bringing a sweet!!

NEWEST NEWS: Sarah really likes the challenge idea and is allowing us a 20% discount on fabric!!! Yea Sarah! :thumbup: :thumbup:

She is also thinking about a follow up meeting to display our challenge projects, wouldn't that be fun? I personally won't be able to organize anything til we get back in Aug, BUT it would be really great if at Sunday's meeting we think about someone else organizing one in Macon or Savannah or even N or S Ga for those who are unable to travel this far.
