I quilt for the good of my heart and soul and people around me benefit from the results. There is something very calming about spending several hours piecing together a quilt. Sure there are times I have to rip something out but that is all apart of the learning experience.

How could you ever possibly quilt for profit? I don't know about the rest of you but hours just disappear when I'm quilting. I figure I would be worth maybe 10 cents an hour.

Seriously, quilting is about having fun......and mostly making things people would like

Can we all get a doctor's note for quilting! Lol. Quilting is a brain cleanser....he should be voted doctor of the year, he has my vote!!!

For fun and for sale (baby quilts) as long as I get my fabric paid for and a little extra to start another one. Some for gifts and for charity to get rid of stash to justify buying more fabric. I don't intend to get rich with the baby quilts but love to put them together.
