Congratulations: She will do just fine. My premy is now 53 yrs old. She was 3lb, when born and went down to 2 lbs. 8 oz. Stayed in the hospital for 2 months and brought her home at 5 lbs, on Mothers Day. Visited her 2 times a day and held her for the first time when she was 6 weeks old. Was worth the wait, as she is now a grandmother herself and as healthy as they come.

Cute name. So glad your "premie" turned out healthy and without problems. We were worried at first but our Addy is doing really well. No apparent problems but they are keeping her in the neonatal unit for 7 to 10 days.

Congratulations on that precious baby. My oldest was born 4 weeks early. About 5 1/2 lbs. By about 3 months he was a porka. LOL

Congratulations Grandma and parents! She's a darling baby. Lovely name too. My preemie weighed 2lbs 4 oz and just turned 45 last month. He's a big boy now.

Congratulations!! We just had a great-niece born at 25 weeks...she is doing pretty good...a small heart problem and will be in ICU until probably at least October. Pass along blessings and wishes for the new family!!!
