Great design! Your dh was a darling to build it for you (although I am guessing you could have done a pretty good job yourself, judging by the house remodel)

Lucky for you; you have a great sewing table AND a great husband. I'd love to have that with one addition: a slide out board on the left to hold the weight of the quilt while I work.
You are very lucky to have that handy husband. And you don't look like a slouch in that department based on the pictures I've seen.

Wow I love your new table! I'm looking for the perfect table too! What material did your DH use to make the extension, is it ply or MDF? Did he use a piano hinge? What did he use to make it stay up?
