I have a tendency to especially love the old traditional quilts, but this quilt design is so appealing and modern. I think the fabric choices does remind me of the hippy days (which by the way I love), so in saying that I love it. Are they pieced or appliqued on.

Your daughter is a pattern designer!! That is just beautiful! Very "NOW and TRENDY"... AND anything that entices the next generation of quilters to "come alive" is a beautiful thing!

Everything is pieced. It's all squares & rectangles. Actually a very easy top to put together. I'm extremely proud of her. She began sewing when she was 6. My wonderful mother taught her. Now as she gets ready to turn 15 she seems to have less time to sew but at least she knows how. I'm going to have her read all your comments. I think that will boost her quilt energy. :)
