    Thanks for all the lovely comments, I appriciate everyone being so kind. I didn't mean to mislead anyone,I am not totally a beginner, I have done a fair amount of piecing, just not the applique. I used freezer paper ironed on to wrong side, then turned my raw edge under, and stitched with really small stitches by hand. I did not use any fusable. Is that what they call needleturn, or am I doing it right

    I love your wall hanging! I have done needle turn but find it difficult on my fingers and thumbs now so do most stuff on the machine. I love hand work like stumpwork, pulled threads, embroidery, etc...

    I love everything about this! Your fabric choice and cute pattern - both are perfect! And speaking of perfect - your applique is beyond perfect! And as always, Charisma did a great quilting job!!! What a treasure!
