    I love this pattern. I have done it 2x and it comes out cool regardless of the scraps you use.

    Just what I've been looking for.
    Squares are 5".
    Anyone know what size the diagonal strips are starting out?

    just used 5" squares and a 1" strip in between because it looked better than anything bigger. I also did not work on this quilt continually as it would get boring. Did about 5 - 10 squares a day. My quilt is about a large size lap quilt, but certainly it is easy to make larger.
