I love this! What a great scrap/stash buster! Thank you so much for posting the link, I am going to give this one a go, my scraps are multiplying as I write!!! I try to do at least two major scrap buster quilts a year and I am behind already!

It could be quite impressive if you used a sharply contrasting color for the diagonal lines. Or even black as the diagonal colors and black and white as the scrappy part. Then you'd have a pretty impressive black/white quilt. I think. Once again, if I need to visualize something, I'm better at putting it in EQ.

Great quilts, and what a great way to use up those scraps.

That is so unlike her, I'd send another email. I seem to recall there were some health issues, personal issues and maybe Marcia either didn't get the first email or there is some other reason. Either way maybe just an email inquiring....I think your quilts are such an excellent example of what can be done with this block/pattern!

Wow! I love them both. I just love scrappy quilts. I have trouble making one myself because I have such a "rigid" personality...everything must match...lol! Great job.

I don't have that kind of personality, but I do like "planned scrappy" so that there is an overall plan that helps the whole thing make a pattern. That's why I like this pattern.

OK. I'll try again. I'm not offended, but later I got to thinking that maybe they only post their "own" sewers and not unsolicited samples.
