Hello and good morning, I did do SID on the whole quilt top except the borders. Time consuming but I love the look. I most often use an invisble thread unless the customer does not want me to. Thank you for your wonderful compliments. Vivian

That is a customer quilt and she fussy cut the roses. When I asked her about the fabric she said that she had it for awhile and didn't know if it was still available. Thank you for your compliments. Vivian

I think I like the one with the roses best also, although I have to say that as each quilt appeared on my screen I was treated with inspiration and and ideas. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

To bad we live so far apart I have 8 quilt tops made waiting to be quilted. Love the quilting patterns you have used on these. Good job.

Hello dunster, I don't know if you remember my name, I purchased two of your Diamond Log Cabin patterns. Unfortunately I haven't had time to make one yet. Your right, practice if the formost important tool to longarm quilting, but I think my biggest suggestion is to find you some nice longarm acrylic tools to work with and I pretty much wear out the blue washout pins by drawing on stencil designs and using pantographs. I did free motion quilting for ten years before I upgraded to a Statler. I still do some free motion quilting, but a lot of my work is done with digital designs. But I can tell you from experience of the last three years that it is just as much work to get the results I am looking for. Thank you so much for your wonderful compliments. Vivian
