Thank you MiraB ... and a perfect fabric for it!
Yes, it would be kind of contradictory to have pansies with roses!

And I see some maple leaves showing thru on QNSue's Old Indian Trail, wheeee!!!

A bit of trivia for one and all ... just a few miles away from me is a small road, aptly named "Old Indian Trail" ... I kid you not!

To All other Block Makers! ... Some wonderful blocks there ... Every time we think we've seen the most beautiful, the prettiest, the grandest ... then along come some more! Well Done!!!

I see this is the thread where the Bonus Blocks exchange got formulated!
How kind of all, to "remember" me in making your plans ... and you were right, I SO want to be part of it.

Has anyone talked with Anael about it? I know she hasn't been working on the PC lately, though I don't know if she's following these threads? She did some pretty nice quilts with her PC blocks, so perhaps she'd like to come back and join in on the Bonus round?

Carrie - It's quite lovely. I can see the trail quit clearly.

I'd love it if we could git more people in on the block swap. Aneal would be great. I can think o' Wendi, Grannie(something) she was makin' her quilt in all blue, ArtEmCasa, & several more that I can't remember their names.

Very nice, Carrie. A great complement to the RR Crossing you just posted.
Interesting about the Indian Trail behind. Here in Iowa "Old Stage Road" is a common byway. Many times these roads just followed old Indian trails as well.

You won't believe how many times I messed up on the centre fussy cut skulls. I finally cut a template and that worked well.

Thanks Anael. I'm taking a little poetic licence with the Halloween fabrics. I'm considering owls and skulls Halloween. Haven't found a batik cat that I think works. May just have to make my own.

    **shivers* from the skulls!

A beautiful fabric ... so many colours there.
And definitely, W4Me ... you really must have kitties in your quilt! Black cats!

And the colors are so wild too. Can understand why you had trouble with the FC's, but you prevailed.

dublb - thank you. I couldn't resist the mixture of brights in this one.
QuiltE - we'll see what happens with kitties. I have an idea, and that is always dangerous.
oksewglad - some of the skulls were not only too large but on angles. Combine that with the triangles and I messed up, multiple times. These are close enough for me. I now have a lot of bright scraps for a future block.
