    Thanks Noveltyjunkie! This was a combined effort with my DIL, between us the quilt design just evolved as all of my quilts do! The nursery is all in a woodland theme, handpainted by Noah's Grandad so the theme was already decided, I decided on the curved piecing rather than straight stripes to soften it and give it movement. Claire (DIL) requested the gingerbread cottage and gingerbread people

    Wonderful to see you designing again Izy! I've really missed seeing your work! It's a beautiful baby quilt for all of the above reasons. Your work has always been so inspiring for me ever since I first started on the QB. I love your use of applique! It's great to see you back!
