    I would put together a small photo album with pictures of each block. Then I would jot down whatever you know about that pillowcase, like: Who embroidered it? What year? How are you related to that person? etc. This would be a great thing to pass on to your children or grandchildren.

    Many of these pillowcases have edges like that but I stitched them down to keep them flat so they wouldn't catch on anything people might place on the bed. That lace is such a treasure, isn't it?

    WHat an inspiration! I have old handmade pillowcases and doilies that would be great in a project like this. Thanks for the great idea.
