    Oh, that is just plain beautiful. The quilting is perfect and really enhances all the piecing work. The border of flying geese are great. Thanks for sharing.

    I like that you've used some lighter colors and light sashing. Some Civil War quilts are so dark! I'll bet it was fun to do all the different blocks. It's very beautiful and I love the flying geese border!

    I belong to a Civil War Sewing Circle group and starting in Jan. we are going to make this quilt as a year long project, probably 5 blocks a month for 10 months. We are all gathering fabrics now and looking forward to it. Your quilt turned out fantastic. Great job.
