My mug rugs will go out later this week. I'm sewing my APRIL pom & bom tomorrow. I want one trip to the post office!

I'm really hooked on shipping from home, printing the postage online. I do not relish those trips to the post office!

Hope everyone is getting some good ideas and having fun creating.

Miss vovoa, I'm done with yours also They should be passing each other on the way.
ctyankee,I bought the 400 for the same reason as you had to see if I liked it first. But like an idiot I bought the biggest set of thread, 3 kinds of stabilizers, etc. etc. etc.....and it all sits there. The built in designs are fine, it's using the importing different ones from the computer to the machine that is the pits, ugh! Think I got a lemon, tutor couldn't get it either now I don't feel quite as stupid or dense. So frustrating, guess that embroidery machine is not my cup o tea...frustrating, that's all I can say. At least we laughed for 4 hours!!

Well . . . "mission accomplished" - that is picking out fabric colors AND design. Not bad for now - had to reread our instructions to make sure I have sufficient background fabric . Now I must make sure I have enough Heat 'n bond . . .

I guess I should also post a sneak peek of the fabric later today . . .

KLTQuilts -- that's a great idea I may do that later, as well! Anybody have a sneak peek to share?

jaba -- Gosh, that is not encouraging! But I bet you did have a great time over it, once yo got through the frustration! I did the same thing -- stocking up on stabilizer & embroidery threads! And my problem has always been the downloaded patterns, too. That's when I realized my Mac wasn't talking to the Brother. So I got a PC. I haven't had time to go back & see if they like each other any better. I think I'm afraid to go there!

Looks like a lot of people are getting ready to mail out their mug rugs!

It's in the mail vovoa and heading your way!
ctyankee, I'm sure I'll try again but I have to get myself ready to be frustrated.....my husband says throw it in the garbage 2nd machine if I need one .......but I already have 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th...you get the idea
even a treadle if the lights go out and my legs still work....

Jaba I have the Brother PE 700, great starter and most likely the only one I will ever own. Love it and have so much fun playing with it. Very easy to download the designs.
