February Mug Rug Swap
#94
My partner (Irene C.)received her mug rug and a couple of fat quarters from me yesterday. She said she liked it so that makes me happy.
Unfortunately, her camera isn't working, and for the first time I did not get a picture.
My husband was going to take the picture, but was on his way out the door to the pharmacy when I gave him my package.
I made one using the green and white with a very simple irish chain, but the way I did it, it turned out almost looking like a reversible one, because on the other side I sewed on a couple of shamrocks with stitching around it.
Irene C. has been a wonderful swap partner.

I returned from a challenge fabric shopping spree yesterday and stopped by the post office to find a parcel box key in my mail box. I immediately knew it was my mug rug. After I carried in the groceries I picked up, I opened my package. My mug rug is so beautiful, I am not sure I want to risk getting coffee or tea stains on it. Perhaps I will change its name to crystal rug and use it for my white wine. Unfortunately, I cannot post a photo. Melanie, I love the shamrock fabric and the embroidered mug; the FQ is like nothing I have. Thank you for your lovely work and thoughtfulness.

I now can't edit what I wrote above which is fine, but my husband with the username Charlie's Dad has put pics up for everyone to see of Irene C. my partner who sent me the wonderful mug rug etc.
I am sorry for our problems getting this done. Hubby just laughed and said, our ongoing saga. Then he said, "well, we have both been sick."
