OK - Patrice managed to help me some = even tho' I got called away after we just started. I got it done - I know it is above my skill level - but it isn't totally awful. It will go in my BOM quilt and I am glad tried it. I think I will wait a while to try something like it with so many triangles as I need more practice - wth smaller challenges I think. LOL Hubby thought it looked fine - but he has eyesight problems - he is ALWAYS my kindest critic! Having trouble adding the pic will do in a bit

i think that's pretty good for a first go-round. instead of looking through it for all the points that don't please you, how about going through it to enjoy all the good stuff? There are several places in your block where you really nailed those points and intersections like a pro!!! :P

next time you decide to practice with triangles, i think you'll find bigger is easier. the smaller the individual pieces in any block - even a simple checkerboard - the less margin there is for error. i'm doing my IW Puzzle as a 16". (is that cheating? i hope not. if it is ... shhhhh ... don't tell. )

Wow rein it looks great! I really like it with the contrast of just two colors. I didn't think about doing it that way but, REALLY like it!

    You did good!
