I got an off brand blade sharpener from Joanns and it has saved lots of time and money. I change my old blades out then when I am ready to start a new project I sit down and take a few minutes to sharpen my blades. They are just like new again. Saved me lots of time and money because I live in a rural, isolated area and the nearest Joanns is over fifty miles away and the walmart here stopped carrying any fabric or notions.

Which sharpener did you use? Been wondering about that since i have a hard time finding my replacement blade size, seems that dont make it any longer and I wont get rid of my cutter.

Are you saying I'm kidding about the prices being too high? Or do you think the prices are too high too? Or do you think the price is reasonable?

I'm not kidding about thinking they're priced too high. I just purchased five 60mm New Olfa blades from ebay for $10.00 and that includes shipping. *$2.00 a blade for New 60mm*.
Other prices I've seen on completed sales (adding in shipping and dividing the number of blades won) are $1.06 up to $3.04 average per blade.

I've gotten some good deals on e-bay.

Better than the Jo-Ann's 50% off coupon.

when my first cutter wasn't sharp enough to cut fabric I bought a new one...since then I have the old one to cut paper and cardstock...and the new one is only for fabric.
I marked the old one with a P and the new one with a F.
