My avatar is my 8 year-old shih tzu Mickey, he was a gift to me from my mother who lived with us till her passing, Mickey is a very spolied furbaby who runs our household but he is my sweet furbaby!

This is Grizzly, we rescued him from the middle of a country road.
Vet said he was about 4 or 5 weeks old, weighed 4 lbs. and was
covered with fleas and ticks. He was so weak he couldn't stand up.
Now he weighs 87lbs. and is a love.

I used to be a Realtor in Florida before retiring. My avatar is one I made from a pattern that a quilting customer gave me. I had a couple of quilting customers and that's how I started to wish that I had time to quilt. Retirement came and now I quilt.

Mine is a PP batik wallhanging designed by friend of mine, Rene Peterson. I learned sooo much about color combo's and values while making it. My name sort of evolved from my "fantasy quilt shop" (the one I always wanted to have but never did) which I thought I would call "The Bobbin's Nest."
