I have a stack of hankies that belonged to my grandmother. Thanks for the idea on what to do with them.

Wow! is right, absolutely gorgeous. I have been saving hankies as well, in pinks, blues, pastel greens, mauve's/lilacs etc to make a hanker chief quilt since I read a piece in one of our magazines awhile back. No pictures with the article so am pleased to see this as it really pulls it all together for me.
Now to collect some more nice hankies, the ones around here are rather staid to say the least, maybe when I go on vacation next I will find a few more?

Thank you so much for showing this! It is inspiration! My grandmas' hankies (2 grandmas) are still in a box in my sewing room waiting for their turn to be a quilt.
