Oh!! I love your embellishments. It makes your block look completely different than your first picture you posted. Good Job.

Patty, your block turned out awesome, too!! I love all of your fabric choices & think if you never add embellishments, that it's just great the way it is!! Good Job.

I love all of the churches...just like in real life, they are all different, and each one has its own place.

May I also make an observation. All of the embellishments are wonderful, and they make a better looking block, but remember your finished quilt still needs to be QUILTED! If you aren't sure (and if you do, you have better forward vision that I ever hope to have!) how you are going to quilt it, then IMHO I would be careful of putting all your embellishments on your blocks now, especially if you are going to send it to a LA quilter.
This isn't a criticism, just an observation of a LAer

Now waiting with great anticipation for the next block.

I did think about the quilting, mine will be lap quilt size so I will do it here at the house and on that particular block I will only quilt around the church lol

Well, I thought all my templates had the one inch square, guess not, because the one window is a bit larger than the other, must have used one of the trial ones as I was fiddling with resizing it.
oh well, it is staying  Woo Hoo...I made it on time :XD:

I'm loving each one's churches. Each one is unique.

Can't wait for the February one. Hope I have scraps to make it, if it is red.
