    Your quilt is beautiful. I made one when my mother in law passed away. I cut up her dresses and blouses. My sister in law laughed and cried when she saw it. She said she would always remember her mother wearing the clothes that were in the quilt. I tied the quilt as I could not quilt it.The embroidery on yours is great. Have fun with your memories

    It is beautiful. Did you have a pattern or just make it up as you went? Your sister will love it.

    No pattern... made up the embroidery blocks first, then drew out a pattern on graph paper to help me with strip sizes and colors. Thank you for the compliment, and yes my sister loved it!
