Me too! Then I always have trouble trying to locate the right one.

Barefoot with socks on in the wintertime too!! There's something about having to "feel" my feet on the pedal!! When I go to classes, I wear shoes that I can slip off under the table. :D

Those of you that go barefoot, did you learn to use a machine barefoot? My grandmother made me wear shoes to sew on the machine, she was afraid the pedal would shock me if my feet were sweaty. I have always thought of that and wore shoes. LOL.

Usually slippers! I almost never go barefoot, unless it's on a beach!

Always slippers. Hardly ever shoes. Definately not barefooted. I found a straight pin with my big toe once. Shall I say it was painful?

Sometimes barefoot in the summer, shoes and socks the rest of the year.

For me, I'm usually just barefoot around the house. On occasion that I'm wearing slippers, don't fit my foot tightly enough to use the pedal properly. I learned in school wearing shoes, so I suppose I wouldn't have a problem wearing shoes that fit well.

Barefoot, most of the time, sometimes if it's cold, socks.

Barefoot or socks. I grew up sewing on a Singer 301 with a toe pedal and still want to sew with my big toe.

Barefoot both seasons. I just feel more control of the pedal
