I can understand your pride. Every word you wrote conveys this and has brought tears to my eyes. This is the best part of motherhood that we all hope to achieve. I have two daughters of which I am equally proud, They don't serve in the military but they are both wonderful mothers who each have two daughters who will grow up to be equally as wonderful as they are.That is an accomplishment in these days. You are to be congratulated. it is obvious that you had faith in your son and it prevailed. So blessed are we.

Thank you for raising such a good young man. Sometimes it takes a few adventures before our kids find their life's work.

I know you are proud of him. I'm proud of him and don't even know him. You have every right to be proud. Make sure he knows that there are a lot of people (that doesn't even know him)that are proud of him.
