I'm not worried about the quilt getting ruined. I figure... it probably WILL get ruined. And if it does, in a few years I will have the pleasure of making another one. And I have a few pictures of this one, to remember it by.

I agree with my quilting friends it is so beautiful and a very thoughtful gift for your daughter. Keep the cat off it in my opinion. I make my quilts to be used and taken care not abused. but if you don't I'm sure the cat will love it to. Was stack and whack time consuming or difficult? I admire them but I am not sure how to choose the fabric or the technique behind the concept. PM me if you have the time. Merry Christmas
