I like yellow, but it depends on the pattern. May be too bright.

The main colors are really rich and would benefit from the softening tone of the cream. The bright yellow will "compete" with the main fabric colors.

Go for the yellow. You will love the quilt on gloomy days!

Pretty pretty yellow, but I'm confused. Usually the accent color and the background color are two different fabrics to choose. The yellow is a bit strong if you use too much of it as is usually the case of the background. For just an accent where you use small bits then it is fine. But then if the tan becomes the background, I'd definitely choose something that is more golden for a background that works better with the yellow.
