Thanks everyone for all the positive feedback! I think I see a red/white and blue one in the near future.

Are you looking for fabric squares? If so charm ones? Let me know, but give me til the first of July I'm in the middle of getting ready for son's wedding with close to 30 family members coming to experience "farm life" a week before the wedding (21st).

Beautiful quilt! The border between each block really adds a lot to the overall quilt.

Love the layout you created! Do you mind if I borrow your idea? My postage stamp blocks keep popping out of the basket begging to be united and become a real quilt top. Thanks for sharing.

Red/white and blue works well. My first lap-size was made with mostly those colors. Go for it!

Jo, I would love to take credit for the pattern but it doesn't belong to me. I only came up with the idea to use fabric from all 50 states, and using only international fabric surrounding the blocks. I say, "Go for it." It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Good luck!

I think I'll take you up on that offer oksewglad! I'll PM you sometime in July. Enjoy the wedding, it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. Congrats to your son.
