Thank-you Opossum, I had been side tracked and I have picked #2 for April’s UFO challenge for this month. Sorry for the week delay. To give you a very strong hint for May’s number, a birdie told me it would be #10, hint, hint.

Oh, I so love the progress going on with our UFO’s. I have 3 UFO’s just needing binding sewn. They aren’t any of our challenged numbers. But I am working on my UFO’s. My goal for next week = sew the bindings on and post pics.

I have two UFOs awaiting bindings also. One is on the list but the other is not. I have already finished #2 on my list. I will substitute another. And #10, I have it written down in my note takers "short hand" but I have no idea what it is off the top of my heard. I will look through my basket of UFO's at the end of the month. My list says 2014 RWB Mystery Quilt. It is a mystery to me.

Oooh, welcome back, happylab, and thank you for this month’s number and for the preview. *wink*

My number 2 is an older Merry Mayhem that I never finished, so this is going to be exciting to get it out again.

AFTER I get this April Merry Mayhem quilt to a good stopping point so that I can add IT to my UFO list… *yikes!*

Miy #2 is to layer, quilt and bind a batik top giftedto me from my previous employer. I think I have everything I need to jump on this project. Thanks for the wink for May.

I just finished this UFO today. It is #9 on my list and will likely be donated at some point later this year. This layer cake of On The Lake fabric, had been sitting on my shelf for some several years and last spring I turned the 10" squares into HSTs. Then the squares fell into the UFO basket. Today... it is done except for the label. The label will be added later or the corner may simply be finished off if no label is needed. The finished size is 61 X 50. Yea, I will just add another from my basket when #9 pops up on our list.

WMUTeach, isn’t it funny how things “fall of the table” and hide for a while only to reappear later. Possibly squirrels pushed them into the basket. LOL I remember this line of fabric from the shop where I worked. We couldn’t keep it in stock it was so popular! It makes a lovely quilt and something both men and women would like. Glad it made its way back to the surface.

Lena, I think I got the layer cake from MSQ. It was purchased with someone in mind but it just did not sing to me when I had it in hand and it got left in the cupboard for a long time. Finely, I needed a quick quilt project and turned it into HSTs. That is when it fell backing into the UFO basket. I still like the interesting fabric that is cottage like, outdoors, lakes and water like. I can see how it would have been popular. Happy it is finished and waiting for a new home.

I squared up my next UFO this morning and am ready to add the binding. Maybe tomorrow morning. Love seeing my over- flowing basket emptying out a little.

@WMUTeach Lovely finish.

I'm not doing a "UFO Challenge," per se, as in, I have piles, and lists, but a lot of what is on the lists is buried in boxes bins baskets. Anyway, I dug a UFO out. 18" blocks set in a 9 patch. Four patches in the corners, SqNSq in center. 30 blocks, Queen. 11 completed blocks. Counted trays of bits. All colors (variety of blues, a bundle from Quilted Twins FQ or HY) are cut. Looks like I need to cut some whites. Sewed eleven seams.
