Ok need to ask you experiences quilters something. do you create a pattern ( like this witch ) , I guess what I am asking is it you create an appliqué to sew onto the quilt? and you have the pattern for the hat ,face, broom, etc?

This particular design comes from keepsakequilting.com. They have the pattern or a kit with everything in it. When I got my pattern last year, the kit was on backorder, so I got the pattern and supplied my own fabric, some of which I had on hand.

this could be a very dangerous site for me i want all the scrap bags they would be perfect for wall hangings which i am working on now
