I finished and mailed my last 6 blocks today. Thank you everyone for so much fun. I surely wish I was still doing this. I am waiting on 10 blocks, no hurry just an update. I don't know how to upload photos so unless someone would like to walk me thru it, you will have to take my word for it...they are all beautiful.
April, thank you so much for running a great swap. I hope all is well with you and that you will like to do this again. Please keep me in mind if you do.
Thanks,
Marcialee

Now that the end of the exchange is near, just thought I'd share this border/sash idea site I ran across.
I now have the results of two of these swaps in my To Do pile and before I put them in a quilt I really wanted some great ideas for borders/sashing. I found them! With full instructions too! YIPPEE.

http://www.blockcentral.com/bom2007-intro.shtml (this one has a medallion in the middle!)
http://www.blockcentral.com/bom2008-intro.shtml (you'll have to look in January for the block sashing)
I love that it gives you fabric requirements too (obviously subtract for blocks completed). Wow, can't wait to make one of these happen (after I finish the rest of the grownups!).

Thanks for getting me to that place. I have tried but it keeps telling me that my upload failed. I am not sure if my pics are to large or not and I don't know how to downsize them. How do you get the albums like you have that show up everytime you post?
I hope its not asking for too much help, but I am so green with this stuff.

Received blocks today from fromzstore, abbys mom, Nancia and Moonwork. I love them all. Dont know how Linda got the exact two colors I sent out but she matched them perfectly. Not sure if I sent her the dark or the light purple. Love it!! Have 12 more to go then time for another quilt! Thanks everyone!!

Packaging completed grownups today for the following: Kris2011, Moonrise, Kathy N, Marcialee, Janecat, Abby's Mom, Goldendog55, Sarah Fitz, quilting nurse. I have one other block and I lost the tag that went with it... let me go see if I can find the original envelope! Ack, my careful organization system failed me for 1 block! I've been working on these this week and will continue to work toward finishing another set today. I need to catch up with the rest of you!
