I think you're right, it is the hardest part. I like your blue idea, it will definitely work.

I am thinking to use a honey/gold color. I think it will look nice? :?:

I absolutely cannot wait to see everyone's versions when they are done! I made 2 sets. So, should a make a huge quilt with all the blocks or two smaller quilts with 12-13 blocks a piece?

you want to complicate matters colletta? the borders, sashing and binding were hard enough for me!

2 would be good if you have 2 kids who want matching throws or 2 for charity quilts. Or 1 if you want it to cover a bed.

Did you have an end use in mind?

I mailed 2 sets of blocks to you this afternoon, Colletta. PO says they should arrive in PA by Saturday. I enclosed 2 stamped envelopes to make it easier for you to send blocks back to me.

My two sets are in the mail - with the stamped return envelope (it took a little bit of explaining to the postal clerk to get it right - I hope)

    colletta

i've finally finished all my previous obligations and i can devote this weekend to the black and white blocks.

is it ok if i change my block from the more time consuming Night and Day to something that can be put together quicker since the deadline is right around the corner?

i was thinking of doing a friendship block?
