Only if you are proud of taxing the citizens every chance and every way you can think of. Us poor nyers are getting poorer all the time. :|

Not so proud of the liberalism, but I am proud to be a Washingtonian. My mom always called it God's country. (But I think that term applies to everywhere! lol)

NY what we do mostly is pay taxes and fees, sadly. Lots of pretty areas, but costs way too much to live here.

I'm from upstate New York. It is a beautiful state with many natural wonders. We have beautiful gorges and falls.

But we are REALLY lacking in government and we have VERY high taxes.

I'm from Maine and very proud of my state, but ashamed of our governer.

We have it all, mountains, skiing, lakes, hunting, boating, the beautiful coast and best of all lobsters, although most of us who live here can't afford them :| Our air is pure, we have wonderful caring communities and, as a former Massachusetts resident, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else then in Maine.
