    My first thought was a OBW. I dont know how to make one but have seen some beautiful ones on the board.

    Yes, that is Ranae Merrils fabric. Look up her first book and see some of the gorgeous things she did with it. I have it in several sizes and colors. It is not meant to be use whole but cut up in starburst and such.
