    Embroidery machine ? The relaxing part is sitting quietly with some good music and needle and thread!! Each to their own!! I do this in my 'quiet' times. Another member said her machine does candlewicking too. My Janome 6500 doesn't. No doubt it would be much quicker but I like the old fashioned look of hand sewing.
    Couldn't see much from the picture. I just google candlewicking, and I am not sure my machine does it either. But it sure is pretty.

    Oh NO! These were done over three years. I always seem to need handwork if I sit to watch t.v. so the Farm animals is 5 years old, the fairies were made 4 years ago. Both were for my youngest grand daughters. The ladies is from 3 years ago, for me. I have since made another which I completed last year using motifs of Australian Wild flowers and am now working on a traditional cream on cream with butterflies and flowers as the main designs. I take my time with these and work at the machine with other pieced and applique quilts as well. It keeps me out of mischief!!!
