    I really like the colors of browns and yellows in this quilt and you did a wonderful job. The receiver of this quilt will be wrapped in your labor of love.

    That's a beautiful top for anyone to have made. It's understandable that you are hesitant to make this your first large quilting project. I quilted my first by machine many years ago--no walking foot--and it was O.K. but not the quality I'd want for a gift. Do what you feel the confidence to do.
