Thanks for your link! My original post for this quilt was last summer, and I did enter it in our regional fair in the fall under the category of "crazy quilt", and it did win a ribbon.
I also entered it in a more general category in a quilt show where I received a written critique. So far, nobody has told me that it is not a crazy quilt. It certainly isn't a traditional style crazy quilt, but it suits me and I am optimistic about the reception it will get at the Bible Camp quilt auction in August.

Daylesewblessed: Here is a link to the definition of Crazy Quilt. I have seen them done both with and without embellishments.... I guess only a quilt judge could give you the definitive answer however.

What a great idea using the embroidery from hankies and dresser scarves! I have a collection from my grandmother and I didn't know what to do with them. Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous, and I hope it raises a lot of money for the fundraiser.
