    It is really wonderful!
I was thinking - - in your town, if you have a local nursing home? They are always looking for things to hang around for the people to look at. Can't you just see those little ladies sitting around your wall hanging, telling their stories of their aprons and the ones their mamas wore?
If you wanted to, I am thinking that you could just loan the nursing home the wall hangings you are creating, that other one you made from handkerchiefs and lace ...
someone may offer you enough $ that you couldn't say no, but in any event, you would make a big difference in the lives of our senior citizens <wave>

I just recently received about a dozen vintage aprons in a box of material I had gotten. Been wondering what I could do with them. Love your quilt.

would it be sacriligious to use the aprons to create Sunbonnet Sue and other applique project (as well as the Apron Quilt) ?<wave>

It would be a nice way to make more than one project out of it for you and others to enjoy, the aprons would probably end up in a drawer with no one to see them anyway, take a picture of them if you like and then make something out of them (my thoughts)

Just adorable. And did you do the embroidery by hand? Brings back lots of warm memories. And your quilt goes with your avatar. They would look lovely in my kitchen it you can't find a place for them.

I'm glad I came back to look at this cutie. I really would like to make it. Need to see if pattern is on sale.
