Could you tell us the name of that potholder book. I'm not creative enough to make a lot of designs. I searched online for free potholder patterns but didn't come up with a lot. Thanks.

I first bought 101 Fun To Quilt Potholders book. I haven't made any from the book because I don't like to have to cut out a bunch of precise little pieces. I just look through the book and get inspired.

They also work well as hot pads too.

Those are so nice!! I love the butterfly one, too. There's a lot of creativity showing in your work. :-D

I made a bunch of potholders when I participated in a craft show (needed little stuff). I used panels and the ladies loved them. I put a true binding on all 24--and wished I'd thought of something else. I use thinsulate, so inside out isn't an option. How do you manage your bindings? They look great!! Is it the backing pulled around?

Thank you. I make a true binding. I figured out a way to make the ends meet easily. For me, the binding is the easiest part.

The book I have is 101 Patchwork Potholders by Linda Causee. It was fun to make a bunch for friends at Christmas time! Good practice too!
