I have my block done and I think it's really pretty but I cannot get the picture to post. I have dial-up internet and I'm sure that's where the problem is. ol well...I'm looking forward to Tuesday to see the next house block we get to make!!

I am not sure that should make a difference .. having dial-up or DSL.. Hmmmm

Here it is the end of the month and I have finally finished my church block. It's my first attempt at paper piecing. Do I leave the paper on until the block is joined to another block?

What a pretty Church block!! :thumbup: I really like the blue color's, they are so calming to look at. You did a great job for your 1st PP'ing. I always take the paper off of the back, when I put each section together. I really don't know if everyone else keeps theirs on until the block is completed or not. Hopefully someone will share with all of us on how they do theirs.

Gorgeous! Love your fabric choices.
:thumbup: You could leave it in and for some it may be a lot easier to see the seam allowances and just follow the lines as you sew or you could take it off. It's what you feel comfortable doing.

This block was my first PP project. I followed the advice of a fellow quilter. Keep it on until it's all together.
