My blocks arrived today. Very nice blocks ladies ~ I couldn't wait to get into the package. Thanks everyone.

BlueChicken ~ I was showing my DH the blocks and he said "that one reminds me of the Silver Fern" I told him I didn't know the name of the block but it's from NZ. He said to give you a thumbs up. :)

i got my 2nd set yesterday. all are equally gorgeous. hope i can do them justice incorporating them into quilts. i think i will make 2 quilts versus 1 big one. just haven't decided yet exactly how to go about it, have several different thoughts in mind. i want my quilts to show the history somehow of all these squares so that 50 or 100 years from now people will still be in awe of them. there is definitely some wonderful talented ladies on this board. and to think that i almost didn't join this swap. i could hardly sleep last night just pondering what exactly to do with each one. thank you Colletta for all the work you did on this swap, and thank you everybody that shared their talent. i want to do another one!!

My blocks have not arrived in Maine yet. Hopefully, today. It sure has been fun seeing all the block pictures and picking out the ones I sent for "adoption" :D I will be crying if I don't have them to play with and show off this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed that the mailman will be nice today. Special thanks to all the participants and extra special thanks to Colletta. Will let you know if I am a happy swapper tonight!
